Eaton Bray Taverners Bridge Club

From May 2nd 2008 the club will operate from the schoolroom of the Eaton Bray Methodist Church. The entrance is to the right of the building shown below.

The club meets on Friday evenings at 7.30 p.m. at the Methodist Church Schoolroom, Totternhoe Road, Eaton Bray, Bedfordshire, UK.

Duplicate Bridge is played using tournament size bridge tables and silent bidders. Club members and visitors should note that there is no dedicated parking for cars and consideration for local residents is of paramount importance. Please do not block the entrance to any driveways or park in such a location that it annoys other road users. Although the club follows the World Bridge Federation laws published by the English Bridge Union, it is not affiliated via the county bridge association and so does not award master points on club evenings. Players wishing to play should note that the club has a policy of NO SMOKING on the premises.

Please also note that the Friday afternoon club operates from the Northall Village Hall as a separate entity and is from 2.00 p.m. to 5.00 p.m. Its aim is to encourage players of all standards and no partner is needed as a host system operates. The session starts with a short lesson followed by duplicate play.
